Acting for the Camera Vs. Stage

This is a discussion board where actors can discuss their preferences and the differences they feel when acting for cameras compared to acting for the stage. I thought it was interesting that there were so many varying opinions and viewpoints on the differences between the two. For example, some say that projection and the amount of exaggeration are the differences between the two while others mention the fact that acting for cameras is much more removed from the audience. It's also notable the preferences of different actors on whether they like the stage or cameras better.
